The Basecamp - Terms & Conditions

The Automated Explorer (Becky Epton, sole trader / Chartered Marketer).

1. What the Basecamp is

The Basecamp is a four-week live group training cohort delivered online via Zoom, currently priced at £297 (with early-bird pricing of £197 for bookings made on or before 20 August 2026). It includes four live weekly sessions, session recordings, an online hub with workbooks and templates, and support between sessions. The current cohort start date is Thursday 10 September 2026, 12:30pm UK time.

2. Booking and payment

Your place is confirmed when payment is received in full via our checkout (Stripe; Clearpay/Klarna where offered). You'll receive joining details by email. Places are limited and allocated on a first-paid basis.

3. Minimum numbers and confirmation (the go/no-go)

The Basecamp runs as a group cohort and depends on a minimum number of participants. We confirm whether a cohort is going ahead by Thursday 3 September 2026 (one week before the start date).

  • If we reach the minimum (5 paid participants) by the confirmation date, the cohort runs as advertised.
  • If we don't reach the minimum, we'll email you before the start date and you choose one of:
    1. Transfer your place to the next scheduled cohort at no extra cost;
    2. Join a modified format — for example a smaller-group cohort or a condensed intensive covering the same material — at no extra cost; or
    3. A full refund.

You will never be charged more for any of these options, and we'll always contact you before the start date so you're never left wondering.

4. Format and cohort elements

Because the Basecamp is built around live cohorts, some elements depend on the number of participants. The peer community and group discussion work best in a full cohort; in a smaller group, you'll instead get more direct access to Becky. The curriculum is organised around four themes (foundations and lead engine, content, admin automation, and connecting it together) and the specific tools and builds shown may be adapted to keep the material current and useful to the group.

5. Changes to schedule

If a live session needs to be rescheduled (for example due to illness), we'll give as much notice as possible and provide a recording and/or an alternative session. The four-week structure and total content will be honoured.

6. Money-back guarantee

You have a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of booking. If you change your mind, or the first session isn't right for you, email Becky within 14 days of booking for a no-quibble full refund. This sits alongside, and does not reduce, your statutory consumer rights.

7. Cancellations and transfers by you

  • Within 14 days of booking: full refund under the guarantee above.
  • After 14 days and before the cohort starts: you may transfer your place to a future cohort if you let us know before the start date.
  • After the cohort has started: outside the 14-day guarantee window, fees are non-refundable, as your place and access to materials have been reserved and provided.

8. What you need (your responsibilities)

To take part you'll need a paid Claude Cowork plan (currently £18/month) and the desktop version of the app, plus a computer, stable internet, and a Zoom-capable setup. Any other tools used will be accessible, with free tiers signposted where they exist; we'll be transparent about anything that has a cost. These third-party tools and their pricing are outside our control. You're responsible for your own accounts and any data you put into them.

9. Recordings, materials and intellectual property

Sessions are recorded and made available in your hub. All course materials, templates, recordings and workbooks are provided for your own personal and business use. They remain the intellectual property of The Automated Explorer and may not be resold, shared publicly, or redistributed. You keep access to your hub and materials after the cohort ends.

10. Results and liability

The Basecamp teaches you how to build systems and workflows using AI tools. What you build and the results you get depend on your own business, effort, and how you apply what you learn, so we can't guarantee specific commercial outcomes (such as a particular amount of time saved, leads gained, or revenue). The training is educational and is not legal, financial, or professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fee you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Your data

We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. We'll use your details to deliver the course and to contact you about it.
